Description

When Greg Hopkinson experienced profound peace in a near-death experience in an avalanche, it made him think that it must be possible to achieve the same thing above the snow. Believing money would help him accomplish this, he started to do business in the Soviet Union during the collapse of communism. Ironically, the greater his business success the more he had to battle his inner demons. He caught a glimpse of what he had become and realised something had to change. After leaving Russia, Greg's marriage failed and he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He went on to find his soul mate, but realised that he was incapable of sustaining a loving relationship. Full of despair, he committed to finding peace and love within himself and travelled overseas for a six-month meditation retreat, and became a monk. As Greg grew calmer and happier he was able to reconnect with his soul mate. They now share the life they both dreamed of - full of excitement, love and stable inner peace. On one level, this book will appeal to readers who are interested in an entrepreneur's escapade from a near-death experience in an avalanche, through to doing business in the decaying Soviet Union and on to life as a monk. Another audience will be those who are looking for more happiness in their lives but don't know how to achieve it. The primary purpose of Boundless: an uncommon passage is to lead readers on a journey of their own self-discovery; the story is subtly woven with ancient clues that reveal what we all seek - stable peace and contentment. Written in a down-to-earth and accessible manner, Boundless: an uncommon passage has the potential to change anyone's preconceptions about happiness and success. It could even change their life.
